The Lessons of Ted Lasso (and the power of having a coach)

Having the right coach can change you business and can change your life. I was talking to a mortgage broker the other day and he was telling me that he loves speaking to athletes and does so often. He said to me “Why is it that I can motivate a football team and they can go out and win and I can't seem to motivate myself?”.
The answer is quite simple-the team had you to help them get out of their heads, point out their strengths, highlight where they needed to improve or focus, notice things that they didn't see and give them the power of belief that they can achieve results!
There is so much power in having a coach and we all need one at some point in our lives.
Ted Lasso changed how his team played the game. He affected every player individually and as a whole. Their lives will be forever changed because of him.
A good coach will work on your personal limiting beliefs to help you recognize what is holding you back personally and professionally. Once you discover these limitations you will be able to overcome them which in turn will help you propel your business forward and excel.
