You Might Be Wasting Your Precious Time
I am currently in the process of completing my Business Coach certification, and in the course materials, the topic of Capability vs Capacity was discussed along with taking a hard look at what we do in a day that is an absolute waste of our time and abilities.

Most of us look at our gigantic task lists with stress and anxiety, because we have absolutely zero idea how we are going to get everything done. We make a list of items that we believe need to get done for our business to run.
Think about this for a second-20% of the activities we do generate 80% of the revenue we earn.
Whoa. I think I should say that again-20% of our activities we do generate 80% of the revenue we earn.
As we move into 2025 a lot of us are thinking and planning out our 2025 business and personal goals and might feel unsure of where to focus.
Using the Eisenhower Matrix above, how would you separate your activities that you do today? Remember, the focus should be on revenue generating activities.
I have a challenge for you: Look at your task list today and separate them into these categories:
Do-does this need to get done right away?
Decide-is this important? When does it need to be done by? Is it urgent?
Delegate-can someone on my team do this or can I outsource it?
Delete-does attending that meeting help my business in any way? Do I need to book an hour meeting with that client or can it be a 15 minute conversation over the phone?
You are fully capable of doing the tasks on your list, but do you have the capacity? Look at the time wasters that do not generate revenue and take your energy away and really evaluate if it needs to be done.
Try not doing those things. Try saying no instead of yes.
Shorten your list to manageable chunks. Focus on the things that make you money (today and in the future) and save you time (today and in the future).
Trust me on this. You'll thank me later.
